The protection of personal data of our contacts at customers, suppliers, prospective customers and partners, as well as users of our website, is of great importance to Asetronics AG, Freiburgstr. 251, Bern, Switzerland. Asetronics AG therefore processes personal data in accordance with Swiss data protection legislation and the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) for the protection of personal data and data security.

In the context of cooperation with business partners, Asetronics AG processes personal data for the following purposes:

- Management of the (contractual) business relationships between Asetronics AG and the business partner, e.g., for orders of products and services through to payment processes, for accounting, billing and debt collection purposes;

- Other information whose processing is necessary in the context of a project or the handling of a contractual relationship, or which is voluntarily provided by our contacts, such as orders placed, inquiries made or other project details;
- Information that can be obtained from publicly available sources (e.g., title, job title) as well as, insofar as required in the context of compliance screenings, information regarding relevant court proceedings and other legal disputes in which the business partners are involved.
The processing of personal data is necessary to achieve the above-mentioned purposes, including carrying out the (contractual) business relationships with the business partner.

3. Transmission and Disclosure of Personal Data
Asetronics AG may transmit personal data for the above-mentioned purposes to partners (e.g., subcontractors, web and IT service providers) only insofar as this is necessary to achieve the above-mentioned purposes. Asetronics AG may also transmit personal data to courts, supervisory authorities or law firms insofar as this is legally permissible and necessary to comply with applicable law or to assert, exercise or defend legal claims. Data transfer to countries outside Switzerland, the EU or the EEA only takes place insofar as this is necessary for the execution of general business as described in Section 1 or is required by law.
4. Automatic Data Processing When Visiting Our Website
Visiting and informatively using our website is possible at any time without the need to provide or collect personal data. So that you can view our web pages in a user-friendly manner and use them stably and securely, we automatically collect and process the (pseudonymous) technical data required for this (e.g., URL, IP address, etc.). This data is temporarily stored in so-called server log files. A personal analysis of this data does not take place and no merging with other data sources is performed.

Personal data will not be disclosed. Asetronics AG offers a wide range of information on its websites, most of which is available without specific registration.
7. How Long Is Your Data Stored?
Personal data is stored only as long as is necessary to fulfill the business process of the respective data processing, or until you demand deletion of the personal data from us for justified reasons. After expiry of these retention periods, the data will be deleted at irregular intervals, unless the personal data is still required for the business processes listed in Section 1.
8. Right to Withdraw Consent
If our contact has given consent to process his or her personal data, the contact has the right to withdraw the consent at any time with effect for the future; i.e., the withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out on the basis of the consent prior to the withdrawal. After withdrawal, Asetronics AG may only continue to process the personal data insofar as we can base the processing on another legal ground. The handing over of business cards also constitutes consent within the meaning described above. The objection/withdrawal must be submitted in writing to the contact address specified in Section 2.
9. Right of Access, Rectification, Erasure, or Restriction of Your Personal Data
Every data subject has the right of access, rectification, erasure, as well as the right to restriction of processing of personal data (Articles 15/16/17/18 GDPR). To assert these data subject rights, you can contact the entity specified in Section 2 at any time.
Furthermore, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority, in particular in the Member State of your residence, place of work or place of the alleged infringement, if you believe that the processing of the personal data concerning you violates the GDPR.
